The ExecuJet Aviation Group is opening two new Fixed Base Operations (FBOs) in Australasia.
The Wellington FBO, ExecuJet Aviation Group’s first facility in New Zealand opened on November 16, followed by a new FBO in Melbourne, Australia on November 18, complementing the Group’s established Melbourne MRO facility.
ExecuJet was invited by Wellington International Airport Limited to manage the new facility, which forms part of the airport’s redevelopment drive to establish a world-class aircraft handling facility in New Zealand’s capital and encourage more business aviation activity. The NZCAA-approved hangar facility, encompassing an area of 2,000sq m, will also enable ExecuJet to house a number of large corporate aircraft and provide line maintenance, aircraft charter and aircraft management.
